I went to Pottery Barn yesterday in search of a wedding gift. I didn’t find what I was looking for but I did find a fun little treasure for summertime entertaining. Neatly tucked behind all of the outdoor serving ware were these little condiments jars shown above. There is just something so sweet about them. Maybe it’s the colors, the handwritten type or the oh so cute spoons for serving. I would probably have a cookout just so I could use them…

I spotted this lovely vellum paper installation on Oh Happy Day. This would be the perfect decoration and table decor for a fiesta themed event! This DIY project can be made for under $25! What a fresh and innovative way to add punches of color and it is such a visual statement! I am really loving this.

Design + Stationery: we love trellis

We’re loving this room design by Summer Thornton. I love that she mixes old and new, bold and subtle patterns and colorful and neutral color palettes. I love that the bright yellow pillow, floral curtains and pink flowers add a sense of playfulness to the room. It feels fancy but also looks like a comfortable place to be in. This room design is a lovely reminder that contrasting elements such as vintage and modern pieces and geometric and floral patterns are very successful together when used in moderation.

It is officially Wedding Season! That means wedding showers and all the fun things that go along with weddings. When it comes to shower gifts, I typically stick to the registry unless I happen to find something great that I know the bride and groom will use. 
I found these fabulously colored kitchen pieces made by Rice dk. I was instantly drawn to the colors. Oh, how the day would be even better if I got to use these fun utensils! Nothing but cheerful and happy.
These would make perfect kitchen shower gifts! Not only would these items brighten a kitchen up but they’re extremely useful too. I can see a vase displayed with a set of three or four of the silicone spatulas looking oh so sunny in a kitchen. Cute and practical. We love it.
