MEET TWIST PAPER
Emily McCarthy, former Senior Designer for Swoozie’s, has collaborated to create a new line of modern, southern products called Twist Paper. Twist Paper is a concept developed by Emily McCarthy and Whitney English Kolb, who met in 2004 and have talked for years about the opportunity to create a line together. Emily and Whitney are thrilled to be creating a fun new line of products with Twist Paper.
The line includes southern, preppy party invitations and personalized stationery, as well as various personalized gift products related to entertaining and southern hospitality.
Emily attended LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia and majored in Graphic Design and Photography. After marrying her college sweetheart in 2006, Emily moved from the Atlanta area to Savannah, Georgia and continues to grow her brand with corporate branding, product and fabric design. She enjoys living on the coast and continues to stay true to her southern roots and savvy style.
Erin Haines joined the Twist team in June 2010. After designing for over six years at Swoozie’s, one of the nation’s largest invitation and stationery retailers, Erin set out on her own opening a design studio that creates custom invitations suites and fabulous corporate brands. She takes inspiration from bright patterns, beautiful typography and unique branding. Erin attened Auburn University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a desire to pursue her passion for all things paper and design. She currently resides in Knoxville, TN with her husband Bobby and her dog Jackson.
