MEET HICKS PAPER GOODS
Sara Hicks Malone has been in love with design and entertaining from an early age. Between throwing tea parties for her stuffed animals and doodling pictures of her interior design ‘empire’ (as she liked to call it), her two passions became evident early on. In 2000, Sara officially began her career in New York City. She joined a boutique graphic design firm and shortly thereafter, was recruited to work for Martha Stewart Baby and Kids’ magazines as an associate art director. In 2003, Sara married her college sweetheart and made the decision to move to Nashville, Tennessee with her sites set on founding Hicks Paper Goods.
In 2007, Whitney English, LLC acquired Hicks Paper Goods. This acquisition has been the perfect pairing of two distinctly different companies that share the same vision: to provide products of innovative design and exceptional quality, while offering outstanding customer service. Today, under the design direction of Sara Hicks Malone, Hicks Paper Goods maintains the standing as the leader in modern party invitations and stationery, with a style that perfectly reflects the sensibility of the chic urban hostess.
